ASAN’s Board of Directors are responsible for setting the strategic direction and policy of ASAN. They are also responsible for ensuring ASAN acts responsibly and lawfully. The Board is elected by and accountable to the membership of ASAN.
ASAN is a registered company and charity. Directors serve as company Directors and Trustees. The Board is formed of local residents elected from the membership and co-opted representatives of local organisations.
The Board meets every six weeks and is re-elected every year at the AGM. ASAN is grateful for all the (unpaid) work which Directors put in to ensure ASAN is a strong and well led organisation.
Our Directors bring considerable skills and experience to the Board.
